This week's trip was a solo run as Luke was struck down by one of the nasty flu bugs that are common at this time of year. We had no kennels to deliver so off I went with a station wagon full of dry and wet dog food and dog coats.
Various drop off's on the way up to Kinglake at our foster carers to keep the supply of food up to the dogs in long term foster care.
It is very very cold up over the mountain the Kinglake Hurstbridge road is still as unearthly as ever with is blackened dead trees for miles and miles. I met some lovely dogs and there owners valiantly making do in tiny little caravans.
We have left a number of dog coat's of various sizes and a dozen small sized bags of dry dog food and slabs of tinned dog food with The Mountain Ranges Vet Clinic to distribute as needed.
It was great to see the vet clinic up and running they are now able to provide a full range of services. I was really pleased to see the animals in the recover cages all nice and snug on the Cloud Soft Dry Matting.
 
I delivered a coat for a 13 year old German Shepard Dog who is having trouble growing his own coat now. He will be as snug as a bug in his new Thermomaster fully weather proof coat.
 
We still have kennels coats and dog beds so we are very confident that we will see the winter out able to fill every request we receive. It is quiet heart warming to drive past barren blocks and see a brightly coloured dog too far away to recognise, but clearly wearing a coat supplied by Fun4Paws.
It puts a smile on our faces.
